Summary
Nguyen Binh Ky is introduced to the members of the Toivo Expedition to teach them Vietnamese. She tells them to call her Binky. Steve Augsberg proves to be best at the language, so is selected to spend more time on learning it than the others. Steve mentioned going fishing, and Binky asked to go with him, but she doesn't realise that he was going in a boat. When confronted by the boat she is triggered to tell Steve of the nightmare of how she came to leave Vietnam on an under-prepared boat - out of the 18 on board only 2 survived. Binky's mother was one of the ones to die. Steve was able to take Binky out onto the lake after reassuring her.
