Summary
Bud Ellsberg thought that the fire had destroyed a significant part of his customer base, and that the railroad was facing bankruptcy, however Ryan Clark managed to extend the lifespan of plywood production, and the Warsaw Mill's owners rebuilt the plant with the fire insurance money, whereas otherwise they would have closed the plant down. 18 months of hard work and the C & SL was bigger & better than before.
