Summary

The old steam engine is able to pull the diesels out of the snow drift. They continue, pushing through drifts as they can, with the steam engine on hand to help pull them out. The steam enigine returns as far as Moffatt to top up on water and sand. They continue and get as far as just south of Meeker, when they get stuck in a drift that the steam engine cannot pull them out of.
