Summary

Although Mark only ever said that he'd worked on field telephones for the army, his decorations indicated that he'd seen some fighting in Vietnam. Mark is very private and doesn't talk about himself much. However, through his connection with the Baptist Church, he hears about a Vietnamese girl living in Albany River who could act as a language coach for the Toivo Expedition.
