Summary

Danny has mixed feelings watching Amy work her first client. He gives the girls at the Redlite respect for doing what they need to, but he also still has qualms. Still, he resolves that he will not hide things when he returns to Spearfish Lake. He talks about some of this with Shirley and they also plan to meet again back at his room at the Sagebrush Motel that night. When the girls share stories, we hear about some crazy clients with messy food ideas.

As Christmas approaches, Danny is surprised more lonely men don't visit. Instead there is a family style dinner with an exchange of small gifts, mostly gag presents. Danny and Amy share some poignant memories between themselves as they've known each other for so long. Amy gives him much support over the grief Marsha inflicted on him. We hear her side of dropping Josh and the blow to her ego at eighteen to lose to an eleven year old Tiffany. They make tentative plans to see each other after they return.
