Summary
Leaving Everglades City, they flew to Orlando, Daytona Beach, and St. Augustine, ending up spending 2 nights at Cedar Key. Mark has been teaching Jackie how to fly, and she was learning fast. After Cedar Key, they head on, and manage to get trapped by a big thunderstorm, not knowing exactly where they were. Jackie spots a small airstrip, and Mark quickly lands and they secure the airplane. There was a lull in the storm, but they saw a huge funnel cloud heading their way; they quickly take refuge behind a barbecue pit.
They survived the tornado, but there were some holes in Rocinante's wings, and the airstrip was covered with debris.
