Rayme Haynes was the head of the general fiction section of Dunlap and Fyre in 2001. He was a tall, thin, bearded man. Michelle Martin called him that asshole.PUTP21
At the company Christmas party, he showed that he was very attracted to dominant women, when Shayna Kirkendahl played one very well. Dave Patterson also called him an asshole.PUTP27
In 2002 he was considered for promotion when Dick Steward, the Editor in Chief, retired, but Haynes' unpleasant manner and his dislike of Dave's novel, which everybody else thought was excellent, finally resulted in Rob Dunlap to firing him.PUTP42
