Moffatt is a small town north of Camden, at the south end of Thunder Lake. The C&SL line that runs from Camden to Spearfish Lake runs through Moffatt, and is one of the places that the steam engine has to pass in Snowplow Extra.
Moffatt has a community college where Rod Turpin takes his GED preparation classes.DW63. Binky Augsberg spent two years there as did Kirsten Langenderfer. Neither finished with a degree as their each found a part-time job that turned into something bigger. Worthing College also holds extension courses in Moffatt.
