Barbara Sipes was an outdoorswoman and friend of Crystal Chladek. She is a small woman and OLTA graduate that worked with Crystal at a ski lodge Cooper Hill near Leadville, Colorado.^DW56 The two declined to return as they didn't want to put up with the partying in the bunkhouse.^DW61
