Janelle Peckanen is the wife of Matt Peckanen.

Janelle went to Lake State (Lake Superior State University in Sault Ste. Marie) while Matt was at Northern Michigan University. The couple started going together during the summer of 1995, were engaged after the summer of 1996 and got married after Matt graduated in June 1997.^DW41

Janelle moves with Matt to Spearfish Lake when he gets a job with the Record-Herald. She is a registered nurse and Randy Clark was going to introduce her to Shovelhead.^DW59
