Erin Bishop is the daughter of Roger Bishop and his late wife Colleen. She was born and raised in Wychbold and babysat her neighbor Amber Herter during her youth.

As of 2005 "Erin on her second enlistment in the Air Force in Germany and not likely to be home any month soon considering all the hassles in Iraq."^CAT1 Although posted in Germany, she also spent time in Kuwait. "Reading between the lines it seemed like she was getting serious about some guy, and both of them looked to be putting in their twenty."^CAT2
