Summary

Bob gets Ken a part time delivery job with Herb Anderson after Phil Wine quits to go away with his girlfriend. Ken has to work the farm in the evenings as his days are busy delivering. Judy & Ken barely see each other, though Judy & Lydia are busy planting the garden with vegetables. Ken plants sweetcorn and one row of popcorn. Judy gets Roger Griswold to show her how to do one of the chores so that Ken doesn't have to. When things slow down a bit, Ken dams up a creek to make a swimming hole.

Later that year, Judy is selling sweetcorn from the trailer when her mother comes buy and gets some corn. Judy is surprised when Irene calls her Judy like everyone else.
