Summary
John and the boys meet Candice & Tiffany off the plane as they get back from running a trip to Quebec to go Whale watching. The trip seems to have been a success, although marginal financially. John is finding life in Spearfish Lake isn't quite what he expected, and is a little grumpy about it, although overall he's happier than he was in Decatur. John goes for breakfast at Spearfish Lake Cafe. Harold is chatting to Joe about the problems with basketball and that they need a new coach. John suggests that he talks to Brandy. Harold goes round straight after breakfast, tells Brandy about how Lisa deLine managed to get basketball and cheerleading cancelled for two years, and how desperate the situation is. Brandy immediately volunteers to give it a go, much to the relief of Harold. Harold then mentions that he now has to look for a new teacher for Maths, Physics, and ideally Geology. Brandy points out that she nearly got a doctorate in Geology and minored in maths & secondary education.
