Summary
Working with the Amish leaves Roger and Catalina little spare time during the week. Sundays are a day off, allowing the couple to catch up on laundry and the like, plus some time to relax. They phone Bonnie who confirms Delmer is quiet and Bonnie with be off to Cleveland for the ComicCon there. The next week, she hasn't returned to her house as expected, but "Sounds to me like she had a real good time at ComicCon, and is still having it."
That Sunday, in addition to emptying the holding tank and topping off gas tanks, Roger and Catalina use the truck stop's free Wi-Fi to plan something for the summer other than more carpentry. The National Park Service posted some interesting volunteer opportunities and the couple send applications that also ask for more information.
One evening after supper, they talk with some of the Amish about their return to Michigan and why. The Amish ask about the land and then talk switches to having them watch the motor home when the couple drive back. They also talk about driving a horse and buggy from Michigan in the fall. Despite taking a month and knowing little about horses, the couple think it might be fun.
