Summary
Mike and Mark have breakfast at the Spearfish Lake Cafe. George is just leaving as they arrive and spots that they've been mushing. Mark warns Mike that they've got to keep the dogs indoors for two weeks while the hunting season is on, otherwise there's a chance they will get shot & killed, like the horse that Mark & Jackie had. Mike tells Mark about the story he and George Webb have got about the plan by Don to build a pond for the city sewer system at Mike's front yard which will badly affect Mike & Mark's properties. Mike owns a third of the land required, so can delay it through the courts, but realises that he can't stop it that way.
