Summary

The Bradford crew finish unloading the Pattersons' apartment, being tactful about personal things destined for the Albrights. Instead of a rental U-Haul that Dave expected, a large semi with the General Hardware Retailers shows up, driven by Dean. Dave is once more astonished by the scope of Emily's planning. She tells him that rather than doing it on the sly, she called the VP for Distribution -- Shae's father -- and for his approval.

The group make a short stop at Shae's place, where Dave and Shae have an emotion parting. Dave promises to return. On the road, Dave talks to Sandy, who is an interesting character. He muses that he is glad that he is getting to know so many kind and remarkable people; but it's still not worth losing Julie.
