Summary

Shae and Dave wave good-bye to Emily; then go to work: Shae to the studio, and Dave to a meeting of Dunlap and Fyre at his manager Rob's apartment.

Dave and his colleagues discuss what to do about office space; their main office was close to the two towers and may be unsafe.

Dave and Shae get a temporary pass to get into his apartment in Battery Park Village. After climbing up to their fourteenth-floor apartment (there is still no power), Dave gets reminded of Julie seeing all their things, and then almost breaks down seeing a huge pile of debris from the window. Shae gathers a few bags of things, and then has to push Dave to carry a suitcase and get out of the apartment. They arrive back in Shae's apartment in Staten Island, with Dave still depressed, and only slightly distracted by his kids.
