Summary
Tanisha and Jon return to Phoenix, to find they have to fill in forms to apply for clearance to work on secret projects. They find that they have a specific project to work on, with less supervision that before. They are astounded to find that is is for Hadley-Monroe where Jon's father works. They work on the project, even exchanging e-mails with Jon's father, though Jennlynn fronts for them with the company.
The chapter ends with summer over and the pair driving back to school. They decide they should learn self-defense.
