Summary
Peter tells Tanisha and Jon that the source of his anger were blinding headaches. After they got bad enough to cause collapse, he was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor. After his surgery and recovery, he became much calmer. He didn't blame his family for abandoning him.
They meet him and his friend Doris for dinner. Tanisha is struck how much Doris looks like her late mother; Doris in turn thinks that her daughter would have looked like Tanisha, had she survived to Tanisha's age.
Jon tells Peter news of his family, now all in Arizona, including the marriages of Karin and Crystal, and Nanci's turnaround. He avoids talking about Crystal's biological father, Al, believing it's a matter for Karin to raise.
