Summary
Mike has been keeping a low profile for a couple of weeks after the council meeting, but goes to have breakfast at the Spearfish Lake Cafe. He tells George that the book will be useful as Christmas presents this year. Ryan is getting hassled about the sacking of Don Kutzley, and Mike supports Ryan. Mark tries to change the subject by asking about his idea, but although Jack Musgrave has investigated the idea, they haven't given Ryan a cost yet. The city have been given an extra year by the EPA, taking the time pressure off them. Fish and Wildlife service might be amenable to lifting the Area of Critical Interest, but they think they will get sued by the Defenders of Gaea. Ryan thinks that the city will sue if the Defenders do.
