Nicole Szczerowski and Randy Clark were more or less steady boy friend and girl friend while in High School.

They drifted apart when they went off to different colleges.

They were pulled back together when they spent the summer together in Spearfish Lake but there was still the consideration of Crystal and Myleigh. Nicole worked it out with the girls before she and Randy were able to work it out.

Randy is building a home for Nicole and himself in Spearfish Lake and at the end of Dawnwalker they were scheduled to be married.
