Emily Jones Holst is a member of the Bradford High School's class of 1988 with Jennlynn Swift. She got married right after graduation to a somewhat-older Kevin Holst. She had one child and another on the way when Jennlynn was thrown out of her house at the beginning of the summer of 1990 and needed a ride back to the airport. Her second child, Jason, was born in August.

Emily was known as the class gossip and Jennlynn used that knowledge to send information back about her situation, including clues, over the subsequent years.

Emily would continue working at the Spee-D-Mart. She welcomed Jennlynn when Jennlynn returned to reconcile with her parents in 2002. Her father is likely Dick Jones who appears in the Bradford Prologue.
