Tanisha Blythe first appears in Alone Together . Tanisha was born in 1977, so at the time of the stories she would be twenty years old. She is 5' 4" tall and she is a brilliant black engineering student at Georgia Tech who becomes the girlfriend and eventually the wife of Jon Chladek . Her family doesn't approve of her career ambitions and has no use for whites.
