Redlite Ranch is a fictional legal brothel in Antelope Valley, Nevada, which is featured in Magic Carpet, and plays a role in Alone Together.

In 1990 it was described in very unflattering terms. It was purchased in 1992 through Shirley Hoffman and her backer George, who has grandiose plans for the place, as described in Magic Carpet Chapter 11.

Shirley, Claudia, Cindy and Tina moved from Bettye's Ranch on reopening. Sara Hoffman is taking some time after college to work there, following a family tradition and after discovering the unfaithfulness of her former fiancee.

Jennlynn Swift is still working there at the time of Alone Together.

Location

Antelope Valley, Nevada is described as being in Piute County. This fictional county appears to be squeezed between Clark County, the southern tip of Nevada, and Nye County, the home of Jackass Flats and its nuclear site. This would allow the Redlite Ranch to be the nearest legal brothel to Las Vegas, being about 200 yards from the Clark County line. ^{MC 11}

Antelope Valley includes an abandoned WW2 bomber runway.

The location in Piute County is fictional, as is Piute County itself. There is a real Antelope Valley, Nevada 89310 - Google Maps, but this is nowhere near Las Vegas.
