Clark, Brent

Brent Clark is the patriarch of the Clark family in Spearfish Lake stories. He is the son of Wayne and Donna (Parmeneter) Clark, her second marriage. It is well known that he did not get along well with his mother, especially in the matter of the inheritance of his father's estate.

Brent married Ursula (Mandenberg) Clark and their marriage produced only one known child, Ryan Clark. They have three grandchildren, Randy, Rachael and Ruth.

Instead of following his father in the Clark Plywood business, he founded and built Clark Constructions, the largest construction company in the Spearfish Lake area. Upon his return from college at NMU, Randy Clark becomes Brent's assistant and is groomed to take over managing the company when Brent retries.
