Sherwin is a cameraman, working for Hollywood Tonight. In Busted Axle Road he is sent with Hurtibese, Lenny up to Spearfish Lake to get film of Jenny Easton. Mike McMahon arranges for them to be caught speeding, and then run out of town. In Blue Beauty, Sherwin is now the chief camerman, so doesn't do any filming himself. He objects when he is told to send a film crew to Spearfish Lake, but is overruled, however he does tip off Lenny, who now works for a paper. Lenny tells his Spearfish Lake contact Eino about it, although he doesn't realise this is actually Mike.
