Amy Ashtenfelter and her family, including her sister Marsha, were summer visitors to Spearfish Lake from Camden, being members of the West Turtle Lake Club.

Amy was the girl friend of Josh Archer during the summer of 1987. Their relationship cooled when she went off to college and Josh remained home to become a railroad engineer.
