Fred Rumsey, Wife Marie. He is a Jerusalme Paper Mill employee and also a volunteer firefighter. He fights the Warsaw fire, but spends more time worrying about his wife. who is pregnant. Eventually he gets news that she gave birth en route to Spearfish Lake. Their son Steve is usually called Stormy.
