Summary

Mr. Ingersoll doesn't get around to dealing with Shae & Denis until lunchtime, when he catches them kissing in the lunch room. In his office they explain that it's to deflect more trouble from Denis. He gets a call from Bert Mansfield, who unintentionally confirms Denis' story of the locker. Skip Apling also confirms the story. Bill Riley has contacted both fathers and put pressure on them to discipline their sons. Since General Hardware are also due to donate $25,000 to the school library, Mr. Ingersoll has to come down on the boys responsible for putting Denis in the locker. Shae & Denis report back to Bill & Arlene about the events of the day.
