Jim "Griz" Geletzke, is an African American who is a part owner ("shareholder") and a supervisor at Lambdatron (1997), the company where Jon Chladek and Tanisha Blythe first intern and later become employee/owners.

Jim was a football star at Georgia Tech on an athletic scholarship, known as Grizzly Geletske. He stands 6 feet, 4 inches or so and was an all-conference defensive back. Griz speaks with a deep rumble and sounds reminiscent of Darth Vader. He left a poor and gang-ridden background to earn his athletic scholarship, but he is described as brilliant, not an adjective usually applied to football players. So "breaking the paradigm" is natural to him.

First met in Alone Together Chapter 7 he is wearing a T-shirt that said "1986 Southern 500 -- Darlington SC -- The track too tough to tame". It wasn't so much the stock car racing that shocked Jon and Tanisha as it was the prominently displayed Confederate flag.

He was hired as an intern at the same time as Jennlynn Swift for the summer of 1991. His wife is named Mona.^MC13.

In Alone Together Chapter 8 it is mentioned that his wife is Caucasian. With Monas permission Tanisha Blythe sends a photo of herself and Jim to her parents to help lay a false trail.
