Summary
After leaving Durango, they fly over Shiprock and Canyon de Chelly, over the Painted Desert to Winslow for refuelling. From there they circled Meteor Crater and then went on the the Grand Canyon, which they flew over and then through. They refuelled at Kingman, where it was suggested that they could fly to Taylor Springs, Nevada, a deserted field where they would certainly be able to camp. They found the Bullhead Ranch strip, and discovered that it was a legal Nevada whorehouse. They bought a 6 pack of beer and made the short run on to Taylor Springs.
