Harold Hekkinan, taught Political Science and coached football at the high school for 20 years, but is now the Principal. He's a Vietnam vet, having been a lieutenant in the First Cavalry Division, and returned wounded. He still draws 20% disability. He went to Vietnam with the Toivo Expedition - Absent Friend. He caught a bit of the archaeology bug when Rod Matson was teaching the expedition what to look for, so spent a number of summers working for Rod as a digger. He is briefly mentioned in Facing the Storm Chapter 35.
