Summary

Heather is thinking back over her time with the Defenders of Gaea, and is dispirited with how little she feels she has achieved. She wanted to save the world for her children, and has no children with the world no safer. She contacts Harris to tell him she will drive to Spearfish Lake instead of flying then having to hire a car whilst she is there.
