Summary
Mike and Mark go over to Warsaw to see Jim Horton. Though Mike had grown up with a dog, called Patches who died whilst Mike was in High School, he hadn't had a dog since. Jim is p[leased to see Mike, and asks after the book he'd written, and Mike tells him that the County Historical Society might be interested in it. Jim had got into dogs after the second world war, when Bob Linder, Fred Linder's Great-Grandfather, had loaned him a few dogs & set him up. Mark borrows Jim's old sled so that he can make a copy. Jim is happy to be passing on his knowledge as he's the last person to run dogs in the area.
