Lex Metarie (Alexandria) is a biker and a talented artist, who owns a gallery in Spearfish Lake with some of her work running into 5 figure sums. She is married to Gene and in Facing the Storm she is also the Mayor, having been elected as a compromise candidate three years earlier. Mike McMahon thinks that she is the best mayor that he has covered for the Spearfish Lake Record-Herald, based on the fact that she keeps meetings short and to the point.

Lex is mentioned in Dawnwalker and Andromeda Chained, but takes an active role in Facing the Storm where she marries both Brandy and Phil Wine and also Jennifer and Blake Walworth.
