Alexandria Metarie aka Lex is a biker and a talented artist, who owns a gallery in Spearfish Lake with some of her work running into 5 figure sums. She is married to Gene aka Shovelhead.
The C&SL Railroad office has a big Alexandria Metarie painting of Plow Extra One memorializing its work in saving Warsaw from Snowplow Extra.
Lex was elected Mayor of Spearfish Lake around 1998, as a compromise candidate. She was reelected every year since as of 2001. Mike McMahon thinks that she is the best mayor that he has covered for the Spearfish Lake Record-Herald, based on the fact that she keeps meetings short and to the point. FtS15
As Mayor, she has officiated at two civil wedding ceremonies, both in Facing the Storm where she marries first Brandy Evachevski to Phil Wine and later Jennifer Evachevski to Blake Walworth.
