Brakeman for the C&SL later promoted to Engine Service (engineer/conductor on the C&SL). He first is a key character in Snowplow Extra and then reappears in Busted Axle Road, Runner's Moon and Facing The Storm. He was hired by the C&SL after being laid off by the CSX.
