Bob Watson is a friend of Judy Niven and Ken Sorensen in Willow Lake, although it is likely the Watson's live in Arvada Center. He has a brother, Merle, and does farm work.
Bob has a bad stutter, but can play guitar and sing really well. He marries Lori Mattson in a rush after she falls pregnant. When we next hear about Bob, he's a member of Jenny Easton's Boreal String Band in Facing the Storm. We learn that in the intervening time, the Watson's, the Sorensen's and the Griswold's joined forces to build a combined milk farm and factory.
