Bob Watson is a friend of Judy Niven and Ken Sorensen in Willow Lake, although it is likely the Watson's live in Arvada Center. He has a brother, Merle, and does farm work.

Bob has a bad stutter, but can play guitar and sing really well. He marries Lori Mattson in a rush after she falls pregnant. When we next hear about Bob, he's a member of Jenny Easton's Boreal String Band in Facing the Storm.
