Antelope Valley, Nevada is described as being in Piute County. This fictional county appears to be squeezed between Clark County, the southern tip of Nevada, and Nye County, the home of Jackass Flats and its nuclear site. This would allow the Redlite Ranch to be the nearest legal brothel to Las Vegas, being about 200 yards from the Clark County line. ^{MC 11}

Antelope Valley includes an abandoned WW2 bomber runway. You can also find a couple dozen trailers, the Sagebrush Motel, and a small general store, besides the Redlite. Will Hoffman, who has lived his life on an isolated ranch, thinks of it as a Big City.^{MC 10}

The location in Piute County is fictional, as is Piute County itself. There is a real Antelope Valley, Nevada 89310 - Google Maps, but this is nowhere near Las Vegas.
