Shae Kirkendahl was a member of the class of 1988 at Bradford High School. 6' 8 1/4" tall (6" more than Julia Child), she played basketball in high school and for her first two years at Ball State University, but wasn't a good enough shooter to make it as a WNBA (Womens National Basketball Association) pro. She ended up in broadcasting, where her height put her at an advantage when interviewing basketball players.
