The Toivo Sauna was semi legendary among the Spearfish Lake youth. It was where Henry Toivo and Kirsten Langenderfer first fell in love in the winter of 1965. The adults always thought that there was more happening there than just the sauna, but really what can you comfortably do in temperatures above 120 degrees.
Other known witnesses in the Toivo Sauna that night include Linda Caserowski and Karin Johanson.
