'''Phil Matson''' is the youngest child of [[Matson, Garth|Garth Matson]] and his second wife, Helga. He has one full sister, [[Evachevski, Carrie|Carrie]], a full brother, [[Matson, Rod|Rodney]] and two half-siblings from his father's first marriage, [[Matson, Frank|Frank]] and [[Matson, Barbara|Barbara]].

Phil was born in [[Spearfish Lake]] around 1950 and graduated from college in the spring of 1971. He took a job in Florida.
