'''Lyle Borton''', before his death, owned a plot of land next to [[Gravengood, Mark|Mark]] and [[Gravengood, Jackie|Jackie Gravengood]] on the road unofficially known as ''Busted Axle Road''.  He had built a small home on the land but after his death the house burned down. He is mentioned in passing in Chapter 4 of [[Runner's Moon]].

When Jackie's brother [[Archer, Josh|Josh Archer]] was looking for a place of his own, they suggested he look into buying it, which he did.
