'''Pam Appleton''' is a Spearfish Lake High School graduate and presumed member of their softball team. She went on to work on her Master's in herpetology at [[Athens University]] with Professor [[Gerjevic, Frank|Frank Gerjevic]].  She spent most of her summer of 1987 looking for a [[Gibson's Water Snake]] in the sewers of Spearfish Lake.  She is a prominent character in [[Busted Axle Road]].
