Shovelhead is the nickname of [[Metarie, Gene|Dr. Gene Metarie]], the leading physician in Spearfish Lake.  He is a large burly man, a full beard, long brown ponytail, and rides a Harley.  He is married to [[Metarie, Lex|Lex]].  He is an excellent violinist, and often plays with [[Easton, Jenny|Jenny Easton]].
