'''Judith (Niven) Sorensen''' (Judy) is the daughter of [[Niven, Norman|Norman]] and [[Niven, Irene|Irene Niven]] and raised in [[Willow Lake]]. She was partial paralyzed in an auto accident while young that also killed her brother, Phil. She managed to complete High School with some assistance from her friends, such as [[Archer, Candice|Candy Howard]], [[Blevens, Alison|Alison Blevens]]. and [[Watson, Lori|Lori Matson]].

She worked hard at her physical therapy to recover as much leg motion as possible. She can walk with braces, but not easily nor without pain. Her therapist at [[Geneva]] was [[Mohr, Beth|Beth Mohr]].

With help from her boyfriend, she attended [[Hinckley Junior College]] for a short time while still living at home. She went on to ''Western'' to complete a degree. (Did she finish?).

A nickname often used is [[Judy Sorensen]]. She has appeared more than once on the cover of the ''Geneva Daily Post-Gazette'' for her actions.

Judy married [[Sorensen, Ken | Ken Sorensen]].  They have three children Phil, Chet and Tom,  plus another child due.  In the winter of 1993, Phil is a first grader. 

The Sorensen family work with the [[Watson, Bob|Watson's]] in a combined operation to raise cows for the [[Griswold, Roger|Griswold]] milk factory.
